LYRES & LACE will feature the best of the Bay Area's acoustic music and underground fashion.  Held at the beautiful 100 year-old Swedish America Hall, this seated, all-ages event will feature hand-made neo-Victorian silhouette set decorations by Laura Weinbach, fashion runway shows by six indie Bay Area designers and all-acoustic musical performances by Mariee Sioux, Foxtails Brigade and Judgement Day with surprise guests.

FOXTAILS BRIGADE: FROM THE STREETS TO THE STAGE
After the first year of making her living as a professional busker on the streets of San Francisco and the East Bay, singer/songwriter/ front-woman of Foxtails Brigade, Laura Weinbach is taking her act to the stage in their first headlining show since she quit her day job.  The neo-victorian street urchin and her infamous violinist Anton Patzer (Bright Eyes, Judgement Day) are no strangers to anyone who's spent a day on 4th Street in Berkeley or taken the Rockridge Bart during rush hour. "I love connecting with what otherwise would have been perfect strangers on the street," says Weinbach, "but I'm really excited for the opportunity to put on an elaborate show with costumes and stage sets and my full band. It'll be super fun!"

MARIEE SIOUX
"Nevada City-based songwriter Mariee Sioux spits piney rhymes over oaken-tuned acoustic plucking. Her twilight narratives detail encounters with ghosts, myriad woodland creatures, and her mom. But with a voice that bends around the branches with more flexibility than her fellow folk-nymphs, you couldn't pick a better guide for your night-hike." -SF Weekly

JUDGEMENT DAY & FRIENDS (acoustic)
After two months of touring as a hardcore string-metal band, brothers Anton (violin) and Lewis Patzner (cello) are excited to try something acoustic and different.   Although they have yet to announce the official line-up of surprise guests for this show we can likely expect an exciting list of names, considering the boys have worked with everyone from locals like Two Gallants and Audrye Sessions to nationals like Bright Eyes and Slash.
