hello, friends of the bay area, and those who live elsewhere but still remain connected to these parts,

The Big Rumble: 20th Anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earthquake City and Community Event for Disaster Preparedness.

The Big Rumble is a week-long series of events designed to connect the Bay Area with preparedness resources while commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. Through local events, social networking, resource tools, and a website that is both informative and easy to follow, we hope to create a feeling of empowerment and unity amongst the Bay Area community. Residents can access informative and engaging resources and tools; learn and practice new skills; and become more involved and connected members of our community.
