for a chance at winning, go to the seaweedsway fb page (http://facebook.com/theseaweedsway) & leave a comment. contest closes thursday at midnight (or is it technically friday 12am). a winner will be selected at random - out of a hat - and announced on friday.

more about the show !
for those of you who may not know, WAITING ROOM is ronnie's band!!! she plays banjo, bass, & sings. with lauren & rose. come check it out! AND, SLEEPY TODD is treating us to a short set, opening the night at 8pm. doors are super early at 7:30. ANDREW KERWIN aka AK from trainwreck riders is gonna dj, spinning records of old-timey favorites. COLLIN LUDLOW-MATTSON & THE FOLKS are back!! folk-rock like only collin can do... he'll be joined by matt adams (back from brazil!), will halsey, sean olmstead, & indianna hale... maybe a couple other special guests... CASUAL DOLPHINS are quite new to my ears, looking forward to some surf-rock, featuring ED Gomez of the Dead Westerns, Boof of Trainwreck Riders/Dead Westerns, Nick G., and I think Lucas Boilon... sweeet!
at the show, be sure to pick up your copy of the 2012 poor bastard's sf almanac & daily planner, hand-made by stephen & friends, this year w/ a superduper local mix cd, for only $10! this calendar is so great - it has all sorts of useful relevant information - last BART times, fair trade coffee locations, companion planting info, music charts, free museum days, how to recognize & what do during an opiate overdose (no kidding) & more! i will bring some more seaweedsway autumn treasury cd's as well, which are free while they last. (bring empty jewel cases if you have 'em!)
***your input requested: I'm still trying to figure out if we should add a wednesday gentle yoga class for the next few weeks and/or the new year. if that is a good time for you to come to class, i'd love to hear from you!

*hear it local, to everybody: please make a page on http://hearitlocal.com ! if you are in a band, please add your shows... which will show up on http://seaweedsway.com once it's done. this can help us all keep track of all our favorite shows!
**want to help with the autumn & winter treasury mix cd's??
if you have extra old-fashioned cd cases (the big bulky plastic kind) that you'd like to recycle & donate, or if you have ideas of how to cheaply & effectively make lots of mix cd's (batches of 100-300), i would love to hear your suggestions... thanks to brian b. & elijiah p. at rough house, dan wool, & dena for helping me burn cd's this time around! thank you to reagan wilson, who is creating the cover art & is inspiring the actualization of this project!
**have ideas for seaweedsway?? please get in touch! thanks for your patience with my slow responses. i like hearing from people who made it to the end of this email especially. :)
thanks so much for supporting & being a part of this project. see you soon.
