Happy day after Dia de los Muertos. Hope everyone had a chance to reflect on and perhaps honor the cycle of life and death yesterday, with an extra appreciation for our ancestors and loved ones who have passed away. With Day of the Dead and Voting Day and Halloween and the Giants winning all behind us, perhaps you're ready to go to some shows in the coming weeks, to hear some amazing inspiring music?? Damada is a trio that Dave Mihaly is a part of along with a very great singer from mainland china named Lourdana and her husband an amazing guitarist and composter/arranger Marc Schmitz. He plays drums and Asian percussion. He also says, “The band is extremely unique, accessible and truly a child of two cultures. The lead singer is incredible and had a fascinating life story. I would like for damada and the make out room and seaweed sway to meet that full moon eve in concert.”

Ever Isles is a San Francisco based dream folk duo. You can stream their new album here:

YOGA CLASSES: I am teaching yoga classes weekly on Saturdays and Sundays at the Yoga Loft. (Though this weekend there are subs cuz I’m out of town, they are really good teachers so you can still go!)
