SeaweedSway Showcase + Chasing the Moon w/ Steve Taylor, Damada (feat. Dave Mihaly), and Ever Isles
Where: Make-Out Room, SF
1st time the SeaweedSway Showcase falls on a full moon, so we're doubling up and releasing a Chasing the Moon episode on the same night! Stay tuned to see whose episode it will be. Here is info for the bands playing live:
Steve Taylor’s Chasing the Moon Episode: http://chasingthemoon.pdcst.com/2009/11/stevetaylor/
Damada is a trio that Dave Mihaly is a part of along with a very great singer from mainland china named Lourdana and her husband an amazing guitarist and composter/arranger Marc Schmitz. He plays drums and Asian percussion. He also says, “The band is extremely unique, accessible and truly a child of two cultures. The lead singer is incredible and had a fascinating life story. I would like for damada and the make out room and seaweed sway to meet that full moon eve in concert.”
Ever Isles is a San Francisco based dream folk duo. You can stream their new album here: http://everisles.bandcamp.com/
