this july, like last july, is full of shows. summer music. the shows are happening on the 15th (make-out room), 20th (amnesia), 25th (rickshaw stop), & 28th (starry plough), so please clear your schedules! then there are shows aug. 3rd (amnesia, early), 8th (brick & mortar), 17th (cafe du nord), 19th (make-out room), & 25th (starry plough). whew! would love your support by attending when you can, listening to the bands, & spreading the word however you feel inclined to do so. thanks to all of you who have been participating in various ways!

sunday's show is extra-special cuz we're celebrating the wonderful blythe foster's bday! yay!!! rumors of cupcakes if you arrive early. with fresh music from eggplant casino (olive & an all-star crew!), dresses (erica fink, bob thayer, sean olmstead, & indianna hale), + indianna hale opening the night. the show starts early, which is helpful if you like sleep. doors at 7:30. music 8-11pm. bring friends if you're feeling social, bring crafts if you're not. :)

also for your radar: next friday is the blank tapes record release @ amnesia with collin ludlow-mattson & the folks + ash reiter + pat hull (brooklyn), AND wed july 25th is annie girl & the flight's cd release @ the rickshaw stop + passenger & pilot's tour kickoff + nora toomey's book release + the debut of killabees (a mix between killbossa & the dina maccabee band). so that's a bit of what's in store!

Rybalko is the recording project of Matt McLean, an alt-folk singer songwriter who played previously as the lead singer of the local SF band todayokay, and as the guitarist for the indie-soul band Stringer Belle. Rybalko's recent live line-up includes Paul O'leary on bass (Stringer Belle, The Scribes), Jodie Ellis on electric guitar (The Scribes), and Giacomo Coslovich on drums.
