i hope you all are doing well and enjoyed your independence days. here are some announcements, events, & recommendations i've compiled for this week. a lot more events & details are compiled above this message. please take a look & spread the word!

~ civic center victory garden community planting on saturday ~ support local food production and the revival of victory gardens in sf! tell your friends & show up, ready to dig in the dirt! hope to see you there.

~ women's vocal & physical awareness & release workshop, led by blythe foster! ~ wednesdays in august at the caretakers space ~ see flyer above! and email blythefoster@yahoo.com for details or to sign up. i'm excited this workshop is happening and request you pass on the flyer to anyone who may be interested.

~ perranosperous, the world-fusion / latin-political-rock band i'm in, now has a myspace page, with songs! please listen, add us as a friend if you want, & tell us what you think: http://myspace.com/perranosperous

~ the next anything swap (clothes, books, kitchenware, anything that goodwill would take if other people don't) will {most likely} be on sunday august 10th, held in the inner richmond. save the date, and your stuff... email me for the address if you want to go, since this one will be at an exciting new location!

~ pickathon - this roots music festival at pendarvis farm, near portland oregon, is august 1, 2, & 3. langhorne slim, sean hayes, & jolie holland (some of my favorites) are performing, among other amazing artists, plus there are workshops and camping possibilities. do you want to go too? if so, let's coordinate travel plans soon!
